I found the feather overlap design very interesting when viewed thru my fingers closed to make a viewing tunnel.

Thanks Linda, the original sky was a featureless, clear blue. I liked this background for the over the shoulder look. Quite right about small pets and birds with big, sharp, pointy feet!

Thank you, Tim. It is my pleasure to share. Much of my work with these big birds has intentions toward portraiture. Over the years Linda has gently encouraged me to include more environmental context and I understand the value of environmental portraits but somehow most of my subjects seem to always end up occupying more than fifty percent of the finished frame.
