Hi Arca,
I usually use a two stop spacing between three bracketed images.
I've never used more than five images and for that, one stop spacing.

Cheers, Johnny

Really like the landscapes

I have been shooting HDR for years. I use Photomatix for the HDR and then take the images into Photoshop to finish them.

I'm lazy - I tend to use HDR presets. I didn't on these. Both done in Lightroom

Thanks for yet another interesting challenge Lesley!
My favorite of your pg1 posts is the cliff scene. All are beautiful!
I went through an HDR stage years ago, then kind of lost interest in it as birds and wildlife took over.
Still love how effective it can be but also dislike when it gets too heavy handed (as some of my old ones
admittedly are). Photography never stops being a learning process does it!
Here are some late night shots from Quebec City to start off.

Cheers, Johnny
Thanks for yet another interesting challenge Lesle... (show quote)

Here's a lark, not the best of photos in the world but it's meaningful for me because it was taken on one my first dates with my lovely wife. I took this bracket 16 years ago with my old trusty Nikon D80. Ten megapixels was awseome I thought back in the day, far cry from the 61 megapixels I have the luxury of shooting now. I reprocessed with modern software, I used Photomatix back in the day for HDR. But this really takes me back to what my eyes saw and my stomach felt, all nervous like, on those first dates with the love of my life.
