I was shooting close-ups in my house and looked outside and saw a perfect capture of a mushroom basking in the sun... I shot it from the door first.

When I walked outdoor to have a better shot. I took a picture of the mushroom w/issue.

And then all hell broke loose!!! I was half scared to death by this thing...

Never seen the like of which before.

I ran back to the house, slammed the door. I was shocked that I still had the camera in my hands. Not sure what the heck that was, I looked if I had a proof of my encounter...

There it is.

Anyone saw that before?

You were luck to see him. Mostly they stay cloaked, except when they are masquerading as flowers. What looks like a mushroom in the spot of sunlight must be a refueling depot.
