Discounts on Topaz products can be "stacked", if something is on sale a discount coupon can be used to reduce the sale price further.

Topaz also seems to rotate sales on individual products (or they used to). Denoise for a month or two, then Sharpen, then GigaPixel, etc. If you've bought individual products and decide to buy a package, the package price is automatically reduced to not include the products you have.

I have a discount code. PM me if interested.

I absolutely love my Topaz DeNoise and Sharpen. They have worked wonders on many photos. Those are the only two I use.

I've heard a lot about Topaz denoise and wonder if I should take advantage of this sale. There is also a Sony code to reduce bundle by $125... I shoot Sony a7iii. Mostly travel and landscapes, some macro. I am just a hobby photographer but do print some for myself. Would like to make bigger than 8x10 prints.

I have not made the leap to Lightroom yet. Use Luminar 4, bought Neo too but have not had time to work with it (moved recently!). (I recently bought a variable ND filter to use on a trip to Iceland, but am thinking I may not really need it so kind of regret that purchase...so hesitate to make another photography purchase that I don't really need. Am on a budget and so $150 is a lot of money to me. I know this is an expensive hobby....just trying to determine how useful the bundle would be to me. I understand "need" is very subjective! Upgrades coming soon will be free to anyone who purchases the bundle, as I understand it...)

Thanks for any insights.

Topaz does have good denoise products but I try to keep ISO levels down so I rarely need that particular tool. I do use Topaz products quite a lot, but mostly I use Studio and in Studio I mostly use precision contrast, sharpen and AI-Clear (which mostly covers my rare need for denoise). Occasionally I do use Gigapixel AI and Sharpen AI, but mostly I don't find I need the stand-alone products.

Personally, I think the Topaz products are a game changer. I purchased Denoise and Sharpen after working with some low light shots at a public aquarium. Attached is an example - before and after. This example is an extreme crop, but it illustrates the power of the product. I showed this same example to a friend and he bought the products. Good luck.

Yep, great example.

I have Denoise, Sharpen and Gigapixel. In terms of usage I go with Sharpen the most often, Denoise almost as much and use seldom (if ever!) Gigapixel. I shoot a lot of action events. Think indoor sports such as basketball, volleyball and gymnastics. Also outdoor events such as soccer, rodeo and softball. When shooting indoor events in poor lighting I go with Denoise a lot. Outdoor events when noise is not an issue, I go with sharpen.

Denoise does have some capability to do some sharpening and Sharpen can do some noise reduction. Sharpen has the cool to choose specific areas/subjects to apply those adjustments. Ex: If you want the background blurred, you don't want everything sharpened. You can specify just the subject and fine tune as/if needed.

When I shoot, I try to go with a shutter speed of 1/1000 so aperture and ISO vary accordingly. Sometimes ISO can get quite high (6400+) to support that approach. So those programs help me get the end result for which I aim.

If I were not shooting what I do, I would most likely not have the apps. Do keep in mind eventually you will be prompted to upgrade which can cost you additional money. BUT - you are under no obligation to upgrade and the products you purchased will continue to work for you.

So think about what you like to shoot first and foremost. Then what you think you can gain by using either product. Perhaps you don't even need all of them.

Do remember - you may download full versions and use them for 30 days, free. Then you can do your own analysis before spending hard earned money from that budget!

Good luck.

As a pro I often use Denoise AI as I shoot both in low light and with high megapixel cameras and the Denoise Ai can be a life saver. I find the sharpen features in Denoise AI more than sufficient, and dont need Sharpen AI. LR and PS have their own version of Gigapixel features.

But NO, you dont necessarily need any of the Topaz software right away.

Yes try them on free 30 day trial, AFTER you get back from your trip and then see if they help your images enough to warrant a purchase. There will always be other sales on them, they have sales every year at various times. Don't feel any pressure to buy them now.

Do some study on your ND filter BEFORE your trip, you may find it very valuable to use for long exposure and high brightness shooting for dramatic landscapes.

Learn to master the photo software you have now first. Yes I have PS, LR, Luminar ( used the least) and Capture One but I can write off their costs as a business expense. They all have their good and bad points.

Here is a 50mp Sony shot at 1600 ISO that I used Topaz Denoise to clean up a bit in post, as there was some high ISO noise with this high megapixel sensor. Your Sony A7III at 24mp wont exhibit as much noise at high ISO, just a factor of the greater pixel density of higher megapixel sensors.

A Great White Egret bends its neck to clean its feathers on Caribbean Island of Sint Maarten/St. Martin. Sony 50mp A1 camera, Sony 200-600mm f5.6-6.3 lens, 591mm, ISO 1600, f6.3 , 1/1000 sec. It had some noise , but I cleaned it up with Topaz Denoise AI without losing any of the great detail and resolution of that 50mp sensor. First fullframe and then a tight crop from the same shot.

I primarily use denoise and sharpen. If you have lousy photos, they won’t do much for you. If you have pretty good photos they can take pretty good and convert them into excellent, crisp photos. I use them on a routine basis and have been absolutely amazed at how much they can improve a reasonably good photo.

I have used Sharpen AI on several images successfully. However, it has its limits.

I received a photo of a bunch of scallions that my daughter thought were above average size. They were in a market and there was a label on one of the bunches, but it was out of focus. Stuck it into Sharpen AI to see if it could be read, but the information was not sufficient in the image to form readable text.

It works pretty well, but don't expect miracles.

I also have the package. I almost never use Gigapixel, but I regularly use Sharpen and DeNoise.
With DeNoise, I don't have to bring a tripod all the time, I just use Auto ISO with manual.
I use them with Photoshop Elements
