While I like the soft water flow I prefer some detail, hence the shutter speed of 1/20 sec.
It was in the mid 90ºs and the walk was literally breath-taking (too many steps). I didn't see any swimmers but it was hot enough!
We had a great time - we're thinking of going back to Canaan Valley Resort in the Fall to take in the colors. I was ready to do some night sky shots but it was always overcast at night - maybe in the Fall. A couple more posts to come.

Nice shot Elliott. I've been there. Did you check out Falls of Hills Creek? Not only can you get good pictures but also a good physical workout from all the steps.

Those images brought back lots of good memories. I went to college in Elkins and, as students, we occasionally drove over to Blackwater Falls for fun. And my husand and I spent our honeymoon there.
