Good action series. It's often hard to catch facial expressions when riders are wearing helmets. You did a great job. Bev

Really nice shots. “I’m in trouble if I sit any lower” is doing a little in flight correction as his take off may have been a little nose heavy. I’m sure the landing was a decline slope (not flat) and ideally one wants to land at the angle of the slope. That’s the advantage of a “dropper” seat post that can be lowered on the fly to allow such attitude changes.

Thanks Bev,I love the expressions ranging from a little fear to super concentration.And it’s luck because you don’t see the expression until later on. What’s amazing is they are “dropping” 8’ and there are no crashes to speak of. Tom

Hi Effate you are possibly a mountain biker yourself. That young man definitely had skill and was “weighted and positioned” for a perfect landing on the sloped landing zone. Some of the bikers will hit the front wheel hard before the rear and the result is a little awkward or even a crash. Where do you ride? Tom
