I have been using my 10 year aging Apples Magic Mouse and trackpad but at 93 years of age I need something more stable, heavier and precise.my hands have developed a slight tremor with movement and when using the brush tool etc are clumsier than I would like,
What suggestions do you have for either a more recently developed mouse or trackpad or what else.

I am determined to continue with macrophotography and the subsequent editing.
Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

If a heavier mouse would help, you could try a gaming mouse like a Corsair M65 Elite. It has 3 removable weights in the base to adjust it to your liking. But it may not work with an Apple because I believe the software is PC only.

I would suggest something like a Kensington Expert Mouse trackball. WWith it, the device stays in place. The mouse movement comes from the turning of the ball with your fingers.

I use a trackball because I feel that they are more accurate in fine movements, and more pleasing to the wrist.

I am of a certain age. I have used a Kensington Trackball for many years and can attest to its stability and ease of use.

I moved to a WACOM One Tablet pad. It isn't inexpensive but it works for me!

Just curious. Are you 93 years old?

Set the movement down. You can control how much the mouse or ball moves the cursor. It will help remove the tremors.

You could try a loupedeck+ it’s about the size of a keyboard and has knobs to turn for most of Lightroom functions. It does cost about 180.00 but I find it a pleasure to use. Saves a bit of time to.

Congrats on still shooting and editing on a computer at 96🤗

The Lightroom Queen has several suggestions for using a midi-controller for Lightroom.

Thank all for looking and the suggestions. I checked each suggested device out on Google.
I have been advised to try out the Logic MC everywhere 3 mouse.
I have found it to be excellent for my editing in l.R. Classic.
My only regret. I bought it from Amazon for $79 and after delivery discovered the same mouse on Walmart for $69.

That should read Logic MX everywhere 3 mouse.

I can use it on 3 of my Mac devices. A nice plus.
it is very light and small and fits in my trouser pocket as I trundle round two story house.
