Had another shot at the ol' Sol this afternoon. Decided to shoot both White Light and Ha subs.
Both sessions shot using a monochrome converted Sony A6000. Ha with a Lunt 60 and White Light with a Sony FE200-600mm @ 600mm and an Orion Solar filter.
I processed the White Light subs using Monochrome2DNG, AstroStakkert (to pick the best image) and Lightroom for tweaking.
I processed the Ha subs in two ways:
1) Monochrome2DNG, AstroStakkert (to pick the best image) and Lightroom for tweaking
1a) Monochrome2DNG was set to suppress the mosaic pattern.
2) RAW Therapee, AstroStakkert (to pick the best image) and Lightroom for tweaking
I also shot some Ha subs at higher exposure to capture any prominences present. The best image from this session was underlain beneath the Ha sessions noted above.
Enjoy!

I'm aspiring to the image quality of the attached Solar image (courtesy of NASA). Do I have a chance? Not on your life!! But one can dream!

Bwana,
Nice shots.
I’m sending a link to a really cool image processor that I use quite often in place of Registax6.
The tutorial is pretty easy to follow and the results are often superior.
I believe in having options.
I’m in the monsoon funk with rain in the forecast for the next week.
Which Lunt are you using?
I have the 60mm pressure tuned version.
Stay safe.

https://greatattractor.github.io/imppg/Thanks for the link. I've downloaded the Win 64 zip for ImPPG and will definitely give it a try. I've found Registax not to be very good for large files (often crashes) and AutoStakkert has never given me a quality result (alignment is flaky), so I'm open to 'options'.
I'm using one of the original Lunt 60's with mechanical tuning; not the fancy pressure tuning.
