I would like to get/buy the Canon EOS Rebel II -Film camera. My granddaughter (16 years old) has a primitive film camera and is looking for something such as yours.

I'd be happy to pay for shipping to California and more. Please write directly to:

I put the word out on the town FB page asking for interested parties to message me. One did, who has a 9th grade daughter trying to do photography. She will get the camera an a copy of my book.

Sure, there are always those who will take free stuff to try to sell.

Concord NH, has a wonderful "Neighborhood" site. People put free stuff on the site everyday. I use it to sell lawn equipment I have no further use for.

Hi All,
I have been cleaning out some much needed space in my house and have noticed that I have a lot of really old cameras that are in really good condition, that need to be removed from my house. I am not looking for money, as these items probably don't have any value. I also know that selling them to MPB is not an option. The items are the following:
Canon Powershot G2 - in original box
Canon Powershot S5 IS - in original box
Canon EOS Rebel II -Film camera, has a 35-80mm lens, flash, manual and comes in camera bag
52mm close up lens set - +1, +2, +4 & 10X macro
67mm zeikos gradual color filters - 2 are missing
Rubber skin for Nikon D80
2-small camera bags

As I have stated I just want to get rid of them. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to donate them or what to do with them?
Thank you

I had a old Pentax 35mm film camera I did not need when I moved to digital. I contacted the local Community College Photography department and donated it and all associated gear. They were extremely happy to get it to use for teaching the students new to photography. That's also a tax deduction, if needed.

Some may be surprised to find those old, mediocre, 70's screw mount lenses have been "discovered" by a younger generation an get pretty good prices. They adapt easily to mirrorless cameras.

I donated some of my old cameras to a local camera-shop who has a window of old equipment in an arcade nest to the shop. Gets quite a lot of foot traffic and they claim people who come in and say 'I had one of those back in 1950/60/70/80 or later. A prewar Voightlander 120 I gave them was sold to a collector for over $300 and they gave me $250 credit. Not bad for a camera with holes in the bellows!
