Very nice and tranquil capture.
Thanks all! Appreciated.
On a side note, I've been following the recent (nearly endless) threads about the "rules" of composition (I prefer the terms like principles, best practices, etc.), about the rule of thirds and so forth, and while I respect these principles and employ them typically, I'd like to point out that this image violates no fewer than three compositional best practices: (1) it does not apply the rule of thirds; (2) it violates the caution against the 50/50 horizon line; and (3) it places a leading line entering from the lower left corner (a subject of much discussion recently).
Believe me when I say I am NOT dismissive of compositional principles and best practices, but sometimes it just comes out differently.
Awesome capture! A wall hanger for sure.

Excellent composition and lighting! Beautiful photo!
Nice photo. But that's a floating home, not a houseboat. A houseboat has an engine and can move under its own power. There are many floating homes here in the Portland area on the Willamette and Columbia Rivers, but far fewer houseboats.
Isn’t that a Boathouse and not a Houseboat?
It has a look of permanency about it.
I like the photograph whatever you call it.

You are too technical. Go along with the program... If the photographer says it's a houseboat, It's a houseboat!
You must be very lucky or very skilled or both! I can't count the number of times I have driven the Oregon side of the Columbia River (HW 84) in both directions and have NEVER seen the river that smooth!
How did you do that?
Very nice photograph while breaking the "rules" of composition by the way!
And good for you for that!!
Nice--I like the vertical. Be careful, though, of centering the horizon, though you get by with it this time.
