It would be nice if we had a picture of your set up. Great shots by the way.

Alway interested In setups to extract high quality from film and slides. Would like more detail and photos of your setup. Your posted photos suggest your setup is working well.

I'm also digitizing slides from some 50 years ago using the same lens and ES-2 with my Nikon D750. The only difference is I'm doing them outside on my patio using natural sunlight. It enables me to shoot at 100-200 ISO depending on how bright the light is.

I choose to be outside rather than inside for everything and this gives me a wonderful opportunity to multitask. Armed with a music source, tall glass of something cold, and an occasional cigar I do a couple of hundred slides per session and they are coming out beautifully. I thought about an inside setup using a tripod, lightbox, and other options all winter but am glad I waited.

It's been totally enjoyable and productive....and EASY!

The light varies when you use outside lighting as the time passes, that's why I use a color corrected light box, I put the light box on a table and take the pic of the slide, I do not use a tripod you do not need one, you put your slide in the ES2 holder and hold it about an inch or 2 from the box and fire away, it doesn't matter if you move the slide it is attached to the holder on the lens. Hope this helps. The ES2 holder.

A spectacular, dazzling connection, but I especially love the Freight Depot 🤎🏆🤎🏆🤎
