Yes, it's been an unusual year for us here so far. The past couple years the Black Crowned Night Herons have been few and far between. And the Lesser Bitterns as well. This year we are seeing a half dozen or more of both of them on each trip through the wildlife drive. And so far, zero Kingfishers! I guess we will just have to keep plodding through!
