i want to photo my 3 yr old outside today using a sony cyber shot.any hints on settings and poses,i just love taking pics
My hint would be to just do try different modes and setting that you have and see what works. Not sure what kind of luck you will have posing a three year old. The setting is whatever makes the child comfortable. Get down to, or nearly so to the childs eye level - often pictures look like they were taken from a plane, and get close. Avoid full sun light unless early dawn or dusk, overhead sun is harsh and a killer, watch for shadows - can be bad or good. Full shade may well be best, watch the background.
Just shoot them at play. You can sit a child down with a paper clip and they will become engrossed in it LOL. Get down to their level. You can also get on your tummy and be level with them if they are sitting. Never shoot from above unless you are right above them... their eyes will pop open wide when they tilt their head beack to look at you. Have fun.
One thing to watch out for is shadows. Usually using the flash will help avoid this problem.
