I agree, it is absolutely a tough call. If you can, see both. Yosemite is probably my first choice but I don't think you can miss either.
Glacier will probably have been photograph less than Yosemite giving you the opportunity for more original shots
The Teton's is our favorite. It's gorgeous. Views are superb all year round but all the Western parks are more scenic than you can see in Europe. No question in my mind.

The Tetons are our favorite. The views are the most majestic you'll ever see. And Yosemite is right next door. In either case, have a good trip. We did Yosemite in the winter and it's gorgeous. The Park Service does a good job in keeping the roads open so enjoy.

I read recently, and possibly on this site, that Yosemite is doing admission by lottery. Put your name in the hat and hope it gets drawn. This is due to the popularity of the site and need to control the crowds. So, best check with the park itself and find what will limit your access and how to best prepare for a trip there.

You need to book a daily entrance pass for Yosemite. Dedication is required to enter.I believe if you have a hotel reservation in the park, you do not have to.
Thank you. We have a hotel room plus I have a photography guide so I think I am covered.

Keep a close eye on the forest fire threatening the Sequoia Grove. Hope your vacation is not effected. I love Yosemite and live close enough to get there once or twice a year. Good luck.
I'd pick Yellowstone as the Grand Tetons are right next door. The Tetons are our favorite park in the western US. Absolutely gorgeous scenery.

I have been to both. Glacier is less crowded if you get off the Going to the Sun Road, although you must drive/ride that road at some point. The west side of Glacier is quite different from the east side, just as the parts of Yosemite outside the valley are quite different from the valley. You will find the high country in both parks closed from sometime in late September/early October through sometime in May (or later, depending on the snowfall.) With the recent storms in California, the high country in Yosemite may never open due to snow in Tioga Pass. :) We shall see. I am going to Yosemite in early May, and we may be limited to just the valley. In Glacier, I would arrange guided day hikes, horseback rides or other tours, but I would take a day to drive up to Logan Pass and spend some time there. I would also stay a night or two on the west side and spend time on the Trail of Cedars.

My pick is Yosemite in the fall (Mid October)
Lovely fall shot.
After the long drive from Monument Valley on the Arizona/Utah border, we had literally one hour in Yosemite really, before we had to leave to make an appointment the same day in San Francisco. These were in March 2020. Yes that is a small rising moon over Half Dome in center, El Capitan left, Bridal Veil Falls, right.
Cheers and best to you.
The really nice thing about our Park system is that there are so many really excellent parks. I prefer the western parks more than the eastern ones. If I had to pick one it would be Grand Teton but don't ask me to pick one!!!!
