A friend of ours who owns several classic cars brought his restored 1948 Packard to drive his granddaughter to her sweet 16 party. It was a thrill for me to be able to photograph it. I hope you enjoy looking at it as much as I did.

Thank you,
Mike Vetrano.

We really have some beautiful machines available to use these days, but I think I actually prefer the styling of some of these older beauties so much more. If you ever get a chance to visit the Auburn-Cord-Deusenberg museum in Auburn, Indiana, make sure you go I guarantee the experience will leave you literally dazzled and breathless Great shots of this outstanding Packard 💥💥💥💥💥

A definite oldie but goodie! Fender skirts, whitewall, spotlight, suicide knob, windshield screen - the works.

The white or cream colored oblong knob by the steering wheel is actually the control knob for a spot light. The shaft went through a hole bored through the A pillar and turning the knob in a circular fashion tilted the light up and down. Rotating the knob itself rotated the light back and forth. This type of light was commonly used on police cars.

Really sharp looking old car!

Very nice. A lot of cars of that era had spotlights; I always did!
