My first plane ride was on a DC3. Love the Caravan.

A fine shot! I'm so glad you didn't say the airplane was on "pontoons,"

great shot. I have walked under this C47 wing & stood beside the floats......... at the WVL airport.
One can not appreciate the size of the C47 on floats until you do .... its a Beast !

that was back in Telford aviation day ...........

You know of T2 and T3? My son worked for them in Bangor years ago.
T2 died in a crash and T3 runs his aviation interests out of Greenville.
Everybody is too kind.

My wife and I went to the fly in for a number of years. Park our chairs on the shore, picnic lunch, watch the action. Great fun times.

If you had the tail number, you could look it up and get the history of the plane.

Yeah, my son is an A&P and currently works on Otters and Beavers in Ketchikan, Alaska. He would thump me up the side of my head if I said "pontoons".
