Lady, you just failed your audition.

Mic Drop is such a vapid empty cliche, worn out trademark of hopeless poseurs.

Heres the right cliche for you now:
"Dont quit your day job."

NEXT !!!!!
.

I'm a little undecided yet on using "Don't Quit Your Day Job". I think that they probably been overused, but isn't that what we do now in Our Country? I believe that we all overuse certain phrases, but I don't care as long as I get a Response like You just did here. I did quit my day job, but I sure did secure my Financial Future with a Great Retirement. Plus, while my Friends were out blowing their money on Clubbing, I invested my Coin and built something so I could quit my day job as you put it. But, I would really appreciate it if you could give me some more tips on phrases that I can use in the future.

Getting subject too low in picture.
Conversely, chopping off birds' feet.

Thank you Ray! I was coming to say my worst habit was hanging out on UHH, but maybe it's my best?

I for one am glad you hang out on UHH. I always enjoy-and frequently learn from--your comments.

When pressing the shutter release on my Nikon, sometimes my finger is not in the right spot, and miss the shot.

Not shooting enough!

I’m with you on that one, how are we supposed to get better without taking pictures, I find myself spending most of my time in post.

Rushing, not taking the time to REALLY look at my surroundings, relax, set up properly. (Then I wonder why my first few shots are so poor.)

Forgetting to check the settings on my camera (mainly aperture and ISO ) before I start to shoot. I was taking pictures of my grandson last night as we were shooting fireworks and after a dozen shots or so I noticed my ISO was on H. I have no idea how it got there as I never use that setting, but those images will be unusable.

I always mean to check camera settings before firing away, but I am not consistent. I once shot a 1000+ photo time lapse with HDR bracketing turned on from the previous day. So the first photo was OK, the next was 1 stop dark, the third 1 stop light and so forth. Spent a few hours in Lightroom getting the photos usable.

You are great because You are probably right. We had our own terms when we were chasing down the drug dealers.

What one thing would you like to correct when shooting?

My biggest or worst habit is photographing family and friends and not sharing my photographs. I have been told “the photos are gonna be great if we get to see them.” I am my worst detractor because I never share my photos with anyone.
