Case in point - season 6 of Doc Martin shows Burt Large making whisky out of his beat up RV. Having been to several distilleries I know that the process involves grain that has to be germinated, roasted, made into mash, distilled, and the resulting alcohol has to be aged to make a drinkable product, none of which happens in Burt's still and his raw "whisky" is drunk with pleasure - totally unreal!!

That was a great series. I never base my eating or drinking on what I see on TV shows.
Sometimes it is nice to be positioned away from reality when you watch a movie. The implausibility of their situation and action allows you to enjoy their antics without worrying that it could happen to you.

I didn't realize it was continuing. I'll have to catch up.

I believe there will be a movie length Christmas special and then Season 10 will begin - Season 10 will definitely be the last.
The movie is basically a retelling of the Homer epic "The Odyssey" (see if you can spot the cyclops!). Yes, George Cluny is handsome, but he's also a very good actor.

Which movie? I've lost track. Yes, George is very versatile.

The movie was "Brother, Where Art Thou" - I saw it years ago and didn't like it at all - it didn't make sense and was very boring. Of course, that was just my personal take on it - I've disliked a lot of movies that others rave about.
