Today we were in West Sacramento viewing the activity on the river... a different perspective from the other side of the river.

Having lived in Sacramento in the '50s, '60s and into the '70s when I saw these photos in the Newest Pictures section of the Daily Digest I thought the first one was the I Street Bridge and I knew the second was the Tower Bridge.
My old man had a 21' cabin cruiser for a couple of years back then that he moored at a marina on the Sacramento River. Spent some time cruising up and down the river.
I took Amtrak from Reno to Sacramento a few years ago. I spent one night there on the Delta King Hotel/River Boat.
Looks like a day well spent, Jim!
