The radio/flyer wagon
Why is the red wagon called a Radio Flyer?
Radio Flyer's original steel wagons sold for $3 in the 1930s. The combination of “radio” and “flyer” reflects the founder's fascination with the two inventions: the airplane and the radio
Nice shot.
(I had to look it up....
Radio Flyers were named as a tribute to two famous men of the day: Marconi and Lindbergh.

Thanks! Interesting trivia to share with my old geezer buddies.

Super creative 4th of July display, Samantha, and you can take it with you to the parade. 😊
Samantha, Thanks for the memories..! Some of my best bumps, bruises, and road-rash came from ridding mine and racing down the hill with my buddies. They were impossible to steer, tipped over easily, and there were no breaks. If I were young, I'd do it all over again.
Love the photo. That wagon sure brings back memories.
Very good capture, Samantha.

Wow! Who would have guessed. I remember playing with mine when I was four years old. I tied it to the back of my tricycle and loaded a garbage can in the wagon and became a propane delivery man. Fun memories. Thanks for the post.
Thanks to everyone for looking in and for the great comments.
Oldie but goodie Sam. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for the Radio Flyer info, great picture at the right time. Brings back memories, as I had one when I
was a kid. Who knows how much stuff and people I hauled in that little red wagon.

Nice, patriotic display in your Radio Flyer wagon.
The nice thing about it, is it's mobile.
