No pollution or contrails
Saw this on Facebook yesterday and commented; how long to recharge and what is the range.
Depends on whether you get the quick charge (70-80%) or the full charge (which takes all day).

Probably not since they wouldn't be internal combustion. Gotta wonder, too, what kind of range they'd have and how the additional weight of the batteries would affect air speed.

Another idea for Elon Musk.

But I think they still can be called Jets because Porsche has their Taycan Turbo S which is an electric are and certainly has no turbo.
I think it would be called "Full By Pass Fan Jet"

Still the possibility of contrails, although the frequency would be significantly reduced. Contrails are just condensed water droplets in the atmosphere. Conventional jets provide some of the water from the combustion of fuel, but the atmosphere always has some water, and if an 'electrojet' runs through a region where supercooled moisture exists in the atmosphere, it could cause it to condense into a contrail.

How many extension cords will be necessary for long range fighters? (Ans. One. As long as it is long enough.)
