Mine is coming today from B&H. Shipped on Jun 23, I ordered the day after the announcement. I have an R6 and am interested to see how they compare. Love the R6 but need a second body and the R5 is too expensive, another R6 just seems too boring, need variety.

I ordered the R7 with 18-150mm lens from B&H last Wednesday. I also ordered a 100-400mm lens and a lens adapter. I'm upgrading from my Canon T1i. Received the adapter and extra lens on Friday and the camera and smaller lens is scheduled for delivery on Monday. Looking forward to it.

I currently use a Canon 5D SR and am primarily a landscape enthusiast. The resolution is great but the color tone and sensor sensitivity is probably what could be expected for 2014 technology. I have rented a Canon 5R for a few trips and have found it to be light, good light sensitivity and great color range. Overall, I really enjoyed using it and put my 5D SR as the backup. Focus was fast and accurate and for my first time using a tilt screen, it will be the last time I purchase a camera without one. The resolution is a little short of the 5D SR but the images created were superior even using my old lenses with the adapter. Just waiting a few more months for the rumored replacement for the 5D SR. It will be a high resolution and dedicated studio/ and especially a landscape camera. It should at least be worth checking it out.

Lucky you! Ordered mine on the day of announcement. Last two large purchases, the R5 body and 100-500 lens, I ordered from B&H and waited weeks/months on backorder before ordering another direct from Canon. Canon orders each shipped within a week or so, then I cancelled B&H orders. This time I tried to be smart and ordered direct from Canon. I'm on back order, and others are getting theirs from B&H. Great plan on my part, bad luck.

The Canon Store is showing the R7 in stock as of this morning. The site also shows about a dozen other retailers with it in stock. Interestingly, neither Adorama nor B&H are shown as having stock. I'm guessing that they blew through their allotment quickly and now have to wait for more.
