Terrific captures, nimbus...gotta love the old equipment when results are this good!!
The images are crisp, clear and beautiful. I'm glad you had the vaccines as you may have been much worse! My 40 year old daughter also got it after all the shots. She was pretty sick, but was not hospitalized. It could have been much worse! What people do not understand is that viruses continue to change. But I believe in vaccinations. Glad you are much better.
Lovely pictures nim, Glad you are on the mend..

Thanks Rob! Yeah, they shouldn't call it a vaccine if it doesn' t work.
I think the vaccine stops you getting it as bad as you can if you don't have the jabs. I had what I think was the covid in Feb 20020 and was knocked off my feet with it, I had all the symptoms I later found out. Had it a couple of months ago after I had had my jabs and booster and was only feeling off for a few days..

Thanks, and out of curiosity I just checked the shutter count on that camera and it's less than 18M( only 12% of its rated life).

I'd been stuck inside with covid for the past 2 weeks(even though I've been vaxxed and boosted) so this morning I had to get out. As a project I dug out my oldest camera(D300) and attaches a lens that I hadn't used in years, 28-105 macro D and shot a variety of pictures. The old stuff(including me) still works pretty good.
Beautiful shots, nimbushopper. So glad you have recovered from the covid and are back in production.

This is a lovely series of captures. Thanks for sharing.
Most of my day was spent vaccinating people and helping them out. (I’m a pharmacist) In my off hours I repaired a Pentax Spotmatic, a Canon EOS Rebel 2000 and a Zenit E. I also found some rolls of film just for fun.

Thanks for the kind words. My family is from Canarsie!
You did quite nicely getting back to photographing again. As for age, a good camera is a good camera regardless of age. I regularly shoot with a 40 year old camera and, probably, same age lenses with a new sensor. The equipment works great.
