One time a buddy of mine was hauling shelled corn to where a river barge was being loaded. The brakes failed on a steep street that ended at the Missouri River. To keep from ending up in the drink, he cut the steering wheel, rolled the truck on its side, throwing 100+ bushels of corn through a plate glass window into a butcher shop. He said the worst part was the log chain he had on the passenger side floorboard. He said it nearly beat him to death when he rolled the truck. But he stayed dry!
