Great picture of a fantastic boat. There is nothing like the sound of an
mahogany boat's engine
Terrific looking boat just as she is, they were not all finished with a natural wood look. When living in the Adirondacks we saw many such boats on the waters and most had the natural wood finish. A good friend had a business maintaining and refinishing these classic runabouts and was always busy, a lot of time and work involved keeping a wooden boat in good shape! We used to enjoy making trips to the Classic Boat Museum in Clayton, NY on the St. Lawrence River. Each year they would alternate having a classic boat show or a classic racing boat show with many of the entries in the water and running.

One of my co-workers is a retired CG WO. I like to send him pictures like these and pictures of CG Stations that I come across in my travels.
Thank you all for looking & commenting! I appreciate it!
JT,
Very good looking boat but some of us still think mahogany ! Some people feel the same with a Mercedes with whitewalls ! But that is what is so nice, what ever floats your boat is the best !
