I like having boxes or cases for things - tools for example. As I've been getting my GoPro stuff together, I thought a toolbox would be the perfect place for it. I bought several of these 20" boxes from Amazon for around $20 - a good deal - and I still had an empty one. I found some old foam, and I used that to cushion the cameras. These are old cameras, going back to 2011, both Chinese and actual GoPro. It's nice having them in one place. My RC truck is arriving today, so I'll be able to take them for a ride.

EDIT: Toolbox - https://www.amazon.com/Plano-651-010-20-Inch-Tool-Tray/dp/B0032Y8RIS/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2Z1L13ISRMC6O&keywords=plano+toolboxes&qid=1655812768&sprefix=plano+toolboxes%2Caps%2C59&sr=8-1

And use a label maker to identify each box.

Wow, the time you spent on that will pay plenty of dividends in the future!

I don't seem to get dividends, only debits.

And "Made in USA" is getting to be unusual.

I am glad the company is still in business and still make the tackle boxes there in Plano.

I used Plano tool boxes for my tools on the farm. The reason I chose Plano is that all the other tool boxes I looked at had a handle that was not watertight. If when you left it out in the rain and came back in a week all the tools were rusty.

The boxes usually started to leak when I ran over them with the tractor. But they still held tools.

We kept one on the farm stand, painted white and with a Red Cross painted on it for first aid supplies. For a while I had some cartoon animal band-aids but some kids would claim to have an injury (like an insect bite) and wanted one of those band-aids. The parents got the bacon band-aids.

One thing I like about this is the closure system - metal, rather than plastic, and there are two catches. I ordered another one last night. For $20.50 delivered, it's a bargain.

Jerry, first I always enjoy your posts. We are moving into a Retirement Center, and figuring out how handle the photo gear is a problem. Moving on from a large gun safe and an old bank safe is a challenge. Your organizational use of tool boxes may just be the solution.

Gracias Amigo

I think I go overboard with toolboxes. I must have over a dozen - labeled. I like having power tools and their accessories all together and covered. I still have my original Craftsman toolbox from about 1960.

The Plano tool box is a great tool box but it's not secure storage for your guns.

A small handgun, maybe, but it's not secure. Still, if someone breaks into your house, do you want to be fumbling around trying to find the key?
