We saw “Top Gun Maverick” last night at the Alex Theater, Alexandria, IN. It was the last night for the show, and the ticket price was $2.00-can’t beat that.

The movie was pure entertainment with lots of air action--no political agendas, no race-baiting, no smack-you-in-the-head messages. Just plain entertainment, the best movie I have seen in a long time. Hollywood needs to make more like this one.

I've pre-ordered the DVD. All the previews I've seen are great so I can hardly wait to see the movie.

Thanks for confirming that I'm not going to be wasting my money.

It has been a good while since I have actually gone and seen a movie in a theater (only because nothing has been put out that I have deemed worthy of my money), but I have heard nothing but good about this movie, I may actually have to go and see it one of these days....

Made tons of money, in my opinion, "Everything Everywhere All at Once" is far superior.

for new viewers, I suggest having them watch the first Topgun before seeing the second. Makes the movie even better.Saw it last week and it is very good.

Freeguy is another good movie. not as good as topgun but much better than what we are seeing lately.

Definitely a entertaining movie. I wanted to watch it on IMAX but all the local theaters had changed over to the new Jurassic Park movie.

Under protest, we went with our granddaughter and family. IMAX. All we could imagine was loud zooming jets. Were we wrong. It was a great movie. The best we have seen in a long time. And yes, there were zooming jets.

Pretty exciting movie. I am a retired Naval Aviator, so Top Gun is special: not realistic, but special for entertainment!
Really enjoyed the flying. If he was a real Navy pilot, he would have his Wings taken and been court martialed. :)

My son came up to Syracuse from Raleigh, NC to take me to see Maverick for Fathers Day. He remembers me taking him to see the original in 1986. We both enjoyed the movie.
