Evacuations were underway yesterday, and a fairground was opened in Teton for use as an emergency campground for evacuated campers.
As of end of day yesterday, Yellowstone does not hope to resume operations until Friday at the earliest. Based on images of extensive road washouts it is likely that it will take months/years to restore. National Parks tend to have low priority for funding.

They're fine they live in Jellystone not Yellowstone
I’ll be surprised if the park re-opens this year.
They have an opportunity to revamp the entire transportation system. Get roads up out of the river bottoms. Lots of one ways with lots of stop-n-gawk pullouts. Drone monitoring for traffic control. Routes that you can’t stop on. At the peak season you can’t drive any faster than a fast walk. Just my thoughts.
