Last week I went to a local marsh area here on Long Island called the Marine Nature Study Area where I had the opportunity to photograph a number of shore birds. One of my favorites of the day was the Black Skimmer...I love the way they skim the waters to find their food source.

All images were taken with the Olympus OM1, (bird detection), and the Olympus 150-400mm lens. Wonderful combination M43 system.
