Have had real problems trying to get high quality photos of bees on flowers, but these two I think are pretty good. Sharpened excessively though. And of course resized so they can fit on the forum here. I especially like the second one with the two bees.

The second one was also cropped and I think it affected the quality a little bit, so, sorry about that, but I think it is not bad, anyway.

The first photo has the bee in focus, Unfortunately in the second shot neither of the bees is in focus in my opinion.

Yes, that is true, as I mentioned in the post, the second picture is cropped. I should not have put the cropped version out here, but the original. However, I do like the picture overall.

I like your lighting and I will try to do better. This is a full-frame developed with ON1 Photo Raw. D500 with 1.4 extender on a 70-200 zoom. Note how the bee collects the pollen on the back legs.

First one sharp, second not so much. All it takes is patience, practice and a lot of frames shot. I average around 1 in 100 keeper rate. Others do better
