Ermine Moth....
Buff Ermine Moth, high up on the conservatory wall, had to get the ladder out again, I'm too old for this
Interesting, balding head, specialized antenna tuned to some frequency that the Electronic Engineers could define, and the tips of the wings are like raveling cloth. Photographed by a woman who temporarily was dangerously elevated in life. Brenda, you have given me food for thought as I sip my first coffee of the day.
I am familiar with what a British "conservatory" is because my British friend from UHH, Heather, explained it. "a greenhouse, esp one attached to a house. another word for conservatoire. This protects the plants from the chilling wind and daily drizzle.
A conservatory is now considered an extra room on your house for sitting or dining or whatever you want it for. Of course, plants often are added as an adornment. I do grow my seedlings in ours in the Spring. Thanks for responding.
Beautiful bug and beautiful shot Brenda
Brenda, job well done. Please be sure to have three points of contact with your body when using a ladder and avoid standing on anything that is not intended to be stood on (Start Safe - Stay Safe).
