#1 is a new edit of a 2020 photo, commercial apple harvest. I wanted to try the free transform tool to make it feel more like we're in the row (ignoring the "No Trespassing" sign). I was also going for more pop, but the bottle may have exploded

Aside from perhaps this being a wee too saturated, do you like the change in perspective/pov?

#2 is the original view, slightly cropped I think, with the 2020 edit.

Thanks for your time and opinions.

I really like the change in perspective, Linda! The colors may be a bit bold for an old man like me.

Thank you Mike. I am going to have to learn how to make a statement without shouting

Change judiciously Linda, there are times for shouting and I think this is a wonderful time. I like the colors in No. 1, I think it deserves a frame.

I like #1 also. For me, the change of perspective and upping the red showcased the foreground apples in the orchard image. IMHO, it added interest to the subject.

Linda, The change from smack dab centered to an almost 1/3 in from the left of the main point of focus makes for a much more dynamic image. Still up to your always very interesting images. Glad you’re back.

The cropped and vivid edition indeed shouts out "harvest time." What a difference a tad of modification makes.

Linda in your text there are two words of interesting but not as you used them... Perspective and Free-Transform. These are two tools in most all photo edit software and are too rarely taken advantage of. Perspective gives a "Tilt-Shift Effect" without an expensive lens. Free Transform can warp flat to curved for example. You can even make "Pinocchio's Nose" on a politician's photo.

Thank you kindly, Don!

In PS Elements, under Transform:
Perspective
Free Transform
Skew
Rotate
and more

A note re your comments to UncleBuck: you might have been teasing, but for clarification if anyone is concerned: Admin won't move birds out of the specialty sections; the new sub-forum applies only to Photo Gallery

I like the pop of red in the apples. Not so much for the color of the mountains (background). A bit of masking maybe necessary. Of course that is probably just me.

I like the change in perspective. The color change accentuates the depth of the apple row, it makes it look like it goes to infinity

I like the change in perspective. It works to draw me into the row better.
Not as much a fan of the yellows in the green or the pink in the sky. Just a bit much for me.

"Admin won't move birds out of the specialty sections; the new sub-forum applies only to Photo Galler" Yep Lenda, I was exaggerating to Reductio ad absurdum [reducing to an absurdity]. Birds are birds, flowers are flowers, and dolls are dolls... and clarity of presentation suggests do not put a flower between to dolls or a hamburger between two pancakes... provoking a visual dissonance of visual thought acceptable only as Dadaism, a world gone mad [especially at breakfast].
