Love them all and so sharp in download. I believe he is the largest black bear I've ever seen and I sure wouldn't want to be walking through the woods and meet up with something like that.

If there are cubs around then this is a SHE, not He or him... Daddy bears dont help raising cubs, in fact they kill cubs. She is beautiful and all that fat helps to produce milk to feed those cubs!

Fantastic photos of a brute of a bear. He looks like the top dog bear in the area. He can sleep easily and never worry about a threat from anything, but a like top grizzly.

I ran into a big Cinnamon bear on Chapman Creek,;a trib of the Frying Pan River in western Colorado in about 1955; I think my fishing gear is still up there!!

Good grief, what a fatty! I notice it looks like he has a mouthful of grass. I've heard it said of black bears that the largest animal in the forest eats some of the smallest things, like ant pupae. Wonderful portraits of this handsome guy.
