I was looking at one of my older photos & noticed between the sun & the glow around the sun there is a ring. I remember from a sunrise/sunset thread here someone mentioning it is from an adjustment but can't remeber what adjustment. Any ideas.
PS- nice photos. What is the name of your you tube channel?
Also, when I was tweaking the colors in the color adjustment layer, I don't remember which color specifically, but I over did one of them and later backed off. I generally save the file with a new name every time I make a change so that I can always go back to a better version if I screw something up. I went back to an earlier version and worked the colors again. I generally add blue and cyan to the water unless there is a strong reflection off the water from the sun, then I tend to warm it up with more yellows and gold. Because of the pink in the sky that I wanted to keep, I decided to do a layer mask on the water and adjusted the blue there and then burned in some of the sky, then dodged the pink. I don't think all of the ended up in the video since the video was more about how to blend a couple of images to get all the elements I wanted in one image. Meaning, I took the foreground from one, the sun from another and the pink clouds from a third and blended them all in. I took all 3 photos within a minute or so, but over exposed and under exposed all 3 images to get the dynamic range that i wanted in the final image.
W...O...W !!!! Beautifully done !
Taken in both color & monochrome was great. Really like both. Keepers.
