Wow...incredibly beautiful photos! I've never seen the northern lights in person, but I sure enjoyed seeing them through your photos! Thank you! How long is your exposure? Are your settings similar to what you would use to capture the Milky Way?

I was born in Wisconsin- lived there for 22 years. Then spent 17 years in Anchorage, Alaska. I did not know you could see Northern Lights in Wisconsin.

I have a free phone app called Aurora which can provide an alert based on your limit and location.can also provide forecasts.

If you haven't been before you will find Crater Lake beautiful and a perfect set up for your purpose. The sea stacks on the sea are also awesome areas although you may run into costal clouds that impede your vision. Your images are gorgeous! You will not run out of things to photograph in Oregon.
