Had a real enjoyable time photographing during nesting season here in Florida. I found some great nesting sites and was able to watch these young birds as they were being fed and raised to flight status. I actually saw the Kestrel Hawk catch the dragon fly in mid air offering it to the female who then nibbled on it a bit and then took the rest to the nest box located on the side of a power pole.

Outstanding pictures. I think you have established a new standard for bird pictures. All are not only well composed but sharp and interesting! Thank you for posting!

I am glad I'm out of the wild life photo business, I would never be able to compete with your pictures. They are absently stunning; each has a story, each has excellent composition, each is sharply focused. I can hardly believe #4, how you were able to shot right into their nest and yet maintain all the elements of excellent photography. I am humbled by your photographic genius
Thank you so much for your comment it does inspire one to try and search for that elusive great picture. I have fallen in love with bird pictures.

Really nice!! Especially the American Kestrels. I know how difficult they are.
Your lucky if you get within 100 ft. of them if its not nesting season. I felt so lucky this is the first time I have had them sit still long enough to take some photo's. Nice nesting boxes the power company installed on power poles made it easy to sit and wait for some action.
