The gull is not a Western Gull because the mantle is not dark enough. It is not a California or Herring Gull because of the gray, not black, wing tips. Is a Glaucous-winged Gull because the mantle and wingtips are the same shade of gray.
Thanx for viewing and commenting. Could be- gulls are tough to ID. That Song Sparrow “followed” us from spot to spot singing. It was a fun day.
