Got this guy in the North Unit of Teddy Roosevelt National Park last summer. Not sure who he is. I don't think he is a Red Tail but I could probably be convinced otherwise!

Definitely a Red Tail but is the first one I ever saw with one red feather and the others barred in its tail.

Get the Cornell Lab Merlin Bird ID App. It IDs birds from your photo, provides birds sounds, can I’d your bird from its song captured on your iPhone. I was listening to its recording of a Northern Cardinal and a Cardinal came to me to check out the source of the sound!
