Rather handsome looking...
Dear Tom DePuy...I love your narrow depth of field allowing you to capture the Cardinal tack sharp and blur the foreground and back ground. I am guessing that you shot this image with an aperture of F2.8. Would you mind sharing what camera you were using and what ISO and shutter speed you used to shoot such as excellent shot? Shooter41

Thanks for commenting, and no, I don't mind sharing my set-up at all.
I actually have a small area I have setup in my backyard for my song bird photos. I' m setup about 15 foot from where the birds are attracted to, " I have different feeding stations set up, no bird feeders' and this area is a about 15 foot away from having greenery behind it. As far as my camera and settings, D850, with the 200-500mm lens at 500m.
Settings as follows:
Aperture Priority
S.S. 1000th sec.
F 5.6
ISO 2200 using Auto ISO
Shot at 500mm
Hand Held
