Very Sad...It broke my Heart when Saigon fell in 75...Unlike Germany, Japan, and South Korea that we helped build up and are now some of our major Allies but also major Economic Competitors, seems like we just go in and destroy Countries and leave, Viet Nam, Afghanistan and Iraq and Syria...It will be interesting to see what happens in Ukraine, but even if they win it will take Decades to Restore their Country...

My opinion.
Putin used NATO as an excuse to cover his legacy ambition of going down in history as the person that tried to restore the USSR. The NATO was a smoke screen.
It is unconscionable that you blame Ukraine for their country being invaded.

Even if true it would be deemed an utter failure in that aspect . Sweden and Finland ( a country with 800 miles of border with Russia - along with the exploding resolve of the EU.

The expansion of NATO eastward has alarmed Russia. Look at a map of this growth. This map should give an onlooker a sense of this regional dispute. Know your enemy.
