I do believe that avocados are toxic to parrots, conures and macaws. Avocados contain persin which can cause heart damage and even sudden death.
They can have a few grapes at a time but not as a meal. Too much sugar.
Nevertheless, that is what these birds eat and seek out down there.

What a beautiful bird and absolutely tack sharp.
This bird obviously likes preening itself.
I learned early on that parrots cannot digest avocados. I would advise against feeding them this delicacy.
A few grapes make a nice treat. Some nuts like pistachios, pecans and macadamias nuts are great. They are good in small quantities but must be unsalted and dry roasted. Fried nuts or chocolate covered are a big no no. Grapefruit, oranges, lemons and limes are a nice treat as well. Be cautious about feeding treats. Too much and they will not eat their regular food. Mom was right! Too many snacks will spoil their appetite.
Ahh! Gestalt is a wonderful thing: You're talking pets and I only know them in the wild... Even more understanding now, with their messiness ripping the skin off, then dropping the big pit onto whomever might be stupid enough to standing directly underneath...
