Fairy light painting

This is a simple set-up. A soft box with a black interior, a crystal ball, and some fairy lights in a twisted ball. The camera is set to Live Composite. The Gemini Jet C-130 is taped to the top of the ball and lit with a small flashlight before the Fairy lights are activated. (fyi) Oh yeah, Flood2 was used in #3 for image balance.

I think it would look even better (in a surreal sort of way) if you got rid of the bright, squiggly stuff at the top.

Excellent work Laura! In spite of the fact that I like anything with an airplane in it, the last one is my favorite.

Ha ha. Me too! Crazy for airplanes. It was an experiment. Didn't quite come out but what the heck. Thanks so much.

Very nice, when scrolling up I thought the last one looked better with out the top light as to me it seemed a little harsh against the softer lower lights...
