SX2002
Loc: Adelaide, South Australia
Lorraine and I spent an enjoyable few days in the City last week. We stayed in the Oval Hotel which was built on the side of the Adelaide Oval. The Oval is always said to be one of the loveliest sporting grounds (cricket, football and other sports) in the World. There was much concern when they said they were building the Hotel there but it fits in very well. I know I'm biassed but I think Adelaide is a very pretty city.

Thanks Dodie and thanks for lookin'...
Beautiful, Ron. I agree. It's a beautiful city! And you did a great job documenting it.
Nice shooting
Even though I'm Melbournite (born on Swanston St.)
I reckon the streets of Adelaide were far better
for the F1 GP than Albert Park here.
I've been to, and photographed the GP at both venues
and Adelaide rocked.
Imho it should go back to Adelaide...
Warm regards,
Alan.

we spent our honeymoon there in 1956. still together!
I have visited Australia a couple of times, very lovely trips. Sydney, Melbourne, Alice Springs, and Canberra. Your photos have now started an itch to visit Adelaide - beautiful spots you have shown us, many thanks.
