Your pictures of the falls are outstanding. Nicely done! I laughed at the sign about the monas and coatis. That is so true!
Thanks very much Kathy. They were cute and people are tempted to pet them, but the results are often not too good.

Thank you for sharing. Lived in Brazil in the 70’s and was able to visit the falls. My photos were on 35mm film that has faded so much over the years. Excited to see your excellent photos and see how much they have developed the park since I was there.
Thanks very much for your comments volnqlt. We were really impressed with the infrastructure and how close you could get to the falls.
I also lived in Brasil for 14 years, but now live in Hawaii and it is like paradise. I went back to Brasil 3 times in Sao Paulo, and my second trip also to Iguacu falls during the 80's. It was a flight from Sao Paulo to Iguacu falls. I used a taxi for a whole day, and the driver told me for $10 at the end of the day. I gave him $20 and he was so happy, he gave me his card to use his taxi next time. On the way back I decided to go back with a bus as I have relatives living in Londrina a city in the state of Parana and half way back to Sao Paulo. Then 3 days later it was back to Sao Paulo, it was a 8 hour bus ride for each of the 2 commute for a total of 16 hours but the buses had stops in between for breaks.

Thanks so much Sylvia. I'm happy that my images could convey that feeling. Thanks also for taking the time to read the narrative.
Excellent shots of these impressive falls, Mark! All the more pleasurable when you have a great companion with whom to share the experience.
