Is near Albany Georgia, their was a hotel and casino until 1994 when it suffered heavy damage from Tropical Storm Alberto. In 1998 a second flood severely damaged the hotel and was not able to be saved. Their is a lot of information on the web about this place. Hope you enjoy this photos of the springs. Thank you Steve.

Nice Pix. The name is a bit disturbing,
Radium, like the radioactive chemical element? Hope it is not that or perhaps it should have been called "Radon Gas Springs". Uranium, Radon, and Radium are often found together underground. Sorry for the chemistry lesson but I usually associate Georgia with Peaches, the Allman Brothers Band, and R.E.M. (the rock band), and wildlife.
The spring pumps out 70,000 gallons of water per minute. Yes, the water contains traces amount of radium.
Beautiful pictures of a beautiful site.
