I few weeks ago, I scanned a lot of slides that were at least 35 years old. While they looked pretty good projected, the quality just wasn't there by today's standards. This blossom is from a Saucer Magnolia which is a large shrub rather than a big tree.

I processed the original scan in Affinity and was able to clean it up quite a bit but I decided to see what Topaz Studio could do with it. This is the Acrylic look. I really like the result because it is so bright and glowing against the dark background.

Terrific result, Carol. I love the dark center, which kind of draws you in to its mysteries

Terrific results, I would never have guessed it started out from an old slide.
