ON1 is advertising it's alternative to an expensive long lens: Resize AI. Clicking through several pages, I finally found the price: $100. Sure, that's cheaper than a lens, but it's still a downloadable piece of software that I'll use only occasionally. There is so much processing software available that I could spend a fortune every month getting the latest and greatest. I'm sticking with my old LR and PS.

Are you on the subscription? PS & LR both have Enhance which will double the height and width, (4x total mp), and it will work on the raw file.

Nope! I'm not a fan of monthly payments. And I don't print billboards.
I know of people that sign up for the 30 trial and then don't sleep for 30 days. A few make the purchase, like me, but you're reign you can spend a fortune on software.

There are more than enough new, cool things in the current versions that I subscribe.
Justifications:
-Drink 1 less bottle of Bourbon for three months
-Drink 1 less six pack for on month
-Take away a bottle of my wife's wine for two months
-A roll of film cost about the same as a month
-One less lunch at McDonalds covers about a month
-Forgetting to take my wife to lunch covers about 3 months
-If I walk enough this month I will save at the pump for about a half month
-Not buying ON1 Resize AI pays for 10 months
-Not waxing the car saves enough for a month
-Being more selective, I can skip printing a couple bad pictures every month
-But, buying a DJI Mini 3 will set the subscription plan back 120 months (10 years!)

Except for gasoline, I don't have any of those expenses.

That begs the question, "What do you spend money on?" Should you have spent your Osmo Pocket money at Adobe? Not quite 2 years of subscription, but close!

But then I would still have LR and PS but no Osmo!
I like that little camera. I still haven't paired it with a phone.
I am a big fan of Topaz AI Gigapixel. I used to be with On One, but then the versions started crashing my PC. When On One worked, I had no complaints. That being said, there has been good information about the new version. After my next photo trip, I will probably take them up on the 30 day trial.

Thanks for mentioning that. Doing a search, I see that I bought that in May 2020.
I’ve used resize in the past to resize images from older cameras and scans for printing. But it got long in the tooth without any updated features. PS super-resolution is only 2x. So I bought Topaz Gigapixel which sometimes did a better job than old resize or ps. On1 Raw 2022 is my primary post-process software so I am glad On1 has released Resize AI. I have a trial of it as I wait for the update of On1 Raw 2022 with Resize AI integrated into it. I don’t belive it’s $100 but rather that’s the price for all the On1 plugins for ps, Lightroom, etc including effects, portrait, NoNoise and resize AI. It’s worth getting a free trial. And there are discounts from On1 affiliates like Hudson Henry, MattK, etc.

...then why are you posting about a resizing app? <shrug>

For new users, the bundle is $150, though there is also something they call a subscription bundle for $89/year:

You don't read Jerry's topics in Chit-Chat, I can tell
