A couple of weeks ago we went to the Phoenix Zoo. They were celebrating El Día de los Ninos. They did a performance of bailes folkloricos. The "kids" ranged in age from about 30 to 3! So cute.
Curious thing: I used my "iffy" camera set on TV with a floating ISO Most worked pretty well. The surprising thing was that the jpegs were just about perfect - colour and density-wise. But nothing I knew to do to the RAW images made the colours come out correct! So what you're seeing is slightly tweaked original jpegs.
As always, your comments are most welcome.
Have to add one more: the grand finale of any performance. This is the final pose of the Jarabe Tapatio. I guarantee by the time one gets to this point, it's hard to get the foot up onto the knee and hold it there without killing the guy!
Too cute and colorful, Kathy! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Mike. It was one of the most enjoyable events I've been to!

Thanks, Ken. It was almost colour overload! I love those dresses!
Thanks! It had been a long time since I had attempted anything like that. With the bright windows behind and to the side, it was sort of a guessing game.
You did exceptionally well.

Whatever you did with your "tweaking" turned out very well. Very nice shots, Kathy.
