At the upper end of Penobscot Bay, a weather system was moving off-shore after raining and spitting snow that afternoon from about Damriscotta north to Belfast. I saw this happening and made my way to the waterfront in Searsport just in time to see the glow from the setting sun in the west on the clouds. The tide was out and a couple of people were on the flats.
Left to right is Sears Island and Islesboro under the clouds.
