This is a post specifically for and at the request of a New Zealand grump.

Do not hesitate to chime in with your entry if you feel you may be in contention!

"I do not suffer fools, lightly" pretty much sums up my approach to my human interactions. Does that make me a Grump? At my age I don't have time to waste accommodating idiots, bigots, racists, etc.

Loren, even without malicious intent it could get malicious quite quickly. Perhaps it would be best to let this individual do his own polling.

Sorry, Bob - it was intended as an introspective thing - totally. I didn't even think of the other possibility!

Lime is indeed one thing that is spread on fields occasionally. There are other things that are spread also.

I have photographed one from early 1900s at a Thresher's Convention a few years ago. And it still is operable.

(Horse drawn, of course.)
